Recently got new computer! This is a HUGE jump: from some integrated crap bought from a retail store to a core i7 + 4890 ATI GPU. I'm planning to OC the CPU to 3.5 Ghz and the 4890 to 925 core and 1000 Mem core. Other specs are 6gb DDR3 ram, antec 900, asus p6t V2.

Anyways, this computer costed 1827 Cdn dollar and I have about 200 dollars left. I want to know which games I should get. (I will take a break from starrcraft for maybe a month or so.) I'm planning to get L4D and fall out 3. Any recommendations are welcome!

uhm, I think alot of people might hate me for this but Dawn of War 2? I guess it's a good casual game

I thought Bioshock was a pretty awesome game.

And Bioshock 2 is supposed to come out this Fall so you won't have to wait long for the sequel!

Can you check out Dead Vessel (I think that's the title of the game) they say that it revived EA's trust when it comes to their games.

Left 4 Dead is really fun if you have friends to play with, but if you play pub games, there are quite a few people that would run off by themselves and get killed.

there are no new good games that have come out recently. Get half life 2 and episodes if you havnt already, otherwise just play starcraft and wait for sc2/diablo3/new blizzard mmo.

For graphics fun get STALKER (or STALKER Clear Sky). You may or may not like the games but they'll push your hardware and have great lighting and shading effects. Armed Assault is nice too. Pump the details all the way up, and if that doesn't push your hardware, start increasing the view distance. You should be feeling it at 10 kilometers. You may not like that game either, but it's another good way to see what your rig can do.

As for what you'd actually find fun.. maybe those games, maybe something else. I'd have no clue though, tastes differ.
