I'm not telling you you shouldnt experiment, I have personally tried most drugs out there except for meth and heroin (I hate needles and the meth propaganda has me scared, plus it only appeared recently around here and I've been done with my experimenting phase for a while). But I'll tell you, as much as you think you're ready, that 16 is a bit young for this kinda hard shit. I know you won't listen and since I don't know you I can't possibly know, but in a few years you'll look back and think that mightve been a bit early. As far as experimenting, imo, coke is a waste, might as well turn it into freebase, its a fairly easy process and fucking a it doesnt smell like burning rubber when you smoke it. E is fun but becomes a habit really easily, as do speeds. Shrooms are probably the most harmless, unless you consider hash on it's own and not as a by-product of weed (hash = YAY! lol). Also, weed is indeed a gateway drug, not so much as it is portrayed, I mean you won't really move on to other drugs because you need a better or stronger high but you will move on to hard stuff because you've already tried something that's considered an illegal drug, what's the big deal between weed and shrooms and then shrooms and E, or E and yayo? Usually once you become a stoner and hang with other smokers, you'll make friends with people who do harder stuff and you'll be much more likely to try those with them. Not saying it's bad or good but you need to know what you're getting into. I know once I tried coke, I had to completely refrain from buying it for a while, because everytime I had a bit of extra cash, I'd think about it, "why not?". Once you've tried it once, and enjoyed it, you don't have that inner fear of the unknown about it and it becomes a casual purchase, which can eventually lead to it becoming a habit and an addiction. | ||

Don't snort it. Shorter high, bad for your nose (especially since it'll be laced with shit 80% of the time, pure mdma pills aren't exactly common unless you have some major high-up hookup). Swallow it, Parachute it, hell, you can try sticking it up your ass like LW said (never tried that but I've heard about it, not sure how good it is though), but I certainly would say don't stick shit up your nose, ESPECIALLY if you don't have to and have other means of doing it. | ||

Snorting is definitely way more fun then just eating. For some reason I love the drip. If you have plenty then eat a couple and snort a couple to mix it up and have yourself a swell time. | ||

You're probably right, most drug-takers don't use in moderation. I'd argue that they weren't sane or rational. I'm saying that rational people look at the pros and cons, and still choose to take drugs. If I had a joint right now, I hadn't smoked weed in months, and it made me chilled for a few hours when I was really stressed out, that would be bad? Because of the possibility of lung cancer, the possibility I'd suffer from long-term mental problems even though my family has no record of mental illness that I'm aware of, because of the possibility of reduced sperm count, because of the chance that my heart might spazz out? I'm happy to take that risk, like I'd be happy to take the risk of taking a car journey. The positives outweigh the negatives for me. I'd argue that I'm rational and sane. Can you tell me what's wrong with E? With alcohol? With weed? Even cocaine? | ||

Go ahead then :D Your upbringing might give you slightly more weight in this discussion but it's not an auto-win. EDIT: You misunderstand me. I fully understand the effects of many of the common recreational drugs, long term and short term. I know drug users, I live with someone who does E every weekend. Many of my friends are the classic stoners who sit around pissing their life away. All I'm saying is drug use isn't always bad, namely in moderation and in a good setting. For example I wouldn't have much problem doing LSD if I had a good friend who was totally sober sitting with me. I don't have a problem getting drunk, even though I know it damages my brain, liver, heart etc. I don't have a problem getting stoned once in a while. Why is what I'm doing bad? | ||

Most "drug-takers" aren't heroin junkies living for their next hit, they're normal people who like to relax every once in a while. Smoke weed and play video games. Drop acid and walk around in a park. Do E and dance around for a couple hours. OP is obviously a responsible person, as he is asking for advice from people who have been there. | ||

I have had a lot of friends that got very deep into drugs and many of them have dug themselves deep holes because of it. I wouldn't say any of them have benefited positively aside from having a few years of fun in a drug induced haze. But if you have your life on track and enjoy experimenting with drugs on a rare occasion then more power to you. I know that if I were to use drugs that it would certainly become an addiction that I would have a hard time controlling. | ||

Usually I would always start off with a drink consisting of some orange juice with gin(only 1 cup to start off with as oj will stir up the squirts). Then I would switch to water for the 3-4 hours of peakness with lots and lots of weed. Also get a rag and smother it in vicks as this will intensify the roll. And for the people that said people had told them its like doing meth musta got some cheap ass rolls. I prefer doing rolls over meth any day of my life. | ||

You were raised by doctors and are saying "short-term weed usage has a major effect on the brain in late life"? THEY'RE DOING IT WRONG! Do some research of your own and you'll learn more about the potential risks of drugs. Doctors as a whole have no obligation to give you sound advice on the effects of drug usage. | ||
