This one came up in my playlist and it again reminded me what a great band Isis is; besides Garden of Light this is one of their best songs imho. I like how the song builds up energy until the "big finale". Just close your eyes and dream!

im not much of an isis fan but reading your description made me think about this song.
this is the greatest finale in a song i have ever heard.

I love Isis, I just wish their singer would shut up. I got Oceanic and Panopticon, haven't listened to anything past Panopticon though.

Definitely give "In the Absence of Truth" a listen; It's has a lot of good songs on it imo.

So this isn't really about Isis but I found a band called 'the waters deep here' and like them, they remind me a lot of the way Isis does their music except its all instrumental so I don't have to put up with the singer from Isis.

Bought their album, basically 4 short tracks that are kinda meh but 3 really long tracks (12 mins Super Bia, 13 mins Ira, 28 mins Mammon) that are really awesome.

EDIT: Oh and yeah Absense of Truth was awesome, by far my favorite of everything I've heard from Isis so far.
