EDIT: I'll contribute to the thread, I guess... Anyway, I find it very frustrating that ICCup can't tell you whether or not LL is enabled until you're in game. I, for one, would prefer lan latency and changing the settings to High or Extra high (can barely notice the difference, only with mutas and reavers have I felt it) than to have no LL at all. The only time I want lat is if it'll make nony vs f91 happen, or when I'm bounding =) | ||

Unfortunately you still need to steer with cruise control. Also, I only play LL on iccup, why would I bother playing somebody without it (when i'm not used to it) when I could just remake and get a new player in 5 seconds. I find there is a noticable difference especially with M&M micro. However I've been lagging on Iccup for most of last season + this season, so I just play poker now. =) | ||

P.S. if you're wireless, try to go wired. that solved my Lan latency lags (even my non-lan latency lags) i went wired and went from lagging at normal latency to being able to play every game lag free at LAN latency. i got cables running in my house right accross the hall because i dont have a phone plug in my PC's room so i have to use long ass extensions. you gotta make sure you dont trip on those. And i have to constantly plug and unplug my modem and all my setup shit because my dad wants to keep his modem in his room. so i can only go wired when he's away. basically i go like this; dad leaves, i unplug everything upstairs in my dad's room, bring my stuff downstairs, where i live, and reinstall everything. when dad about to come back, me unplugging everything, and reinstalling everything upstairs. its annoying but its worth it. | ||

It makes the game so much smoother, more balanced, and it provides better game play. Why do people no realize how much better LAN is compared to b.net? And if they do, then why don't they do a simple thing like downloading a program that takes 15 seconds to set up, and adding #LL to the end of their game name to accomplish it? | ||
