The ONLY exception is Death metal, which isnt music so i doubt anyone would bring it up in a music blog. In fact, nearly every song played on the radio is bad. it's really fucking strange how people pick the worst songs to be popular, just throw a bunch of nearly naked ladies in a video and zomg multi platinum "society acceptable porn videos" are what i call mainstream videos. i'm not saying all mainstream music is bad, just 90~99% of it so basically, mainstream music is horrible because i'm assuming we're basing it on how good its musical quality is. It's rather fun to dance/party to in clubs and most of the songs have clean vocals that are fun to sing along to, however , musically it pales in comparison to underground music. | ||

Oooh, hey, fall out boy, i used to like this band back in the day -listens to "I don't care"- OH MY GOD THEY ARE FUCKING TRASH NOW their old music was actually decent, actually had musical qualities and i always thought they had a clever way with words, had being the key word. wut's with U2 , "l0l0l0l0l SEXY BOOTS SEXY BOOTS" what the fuck- garbage O hey, metallica, hmm , better than their St.anger stuff at least, woot first mainstream band that's at least tolerable. Her Morning Elegance by Oren Lavie was actually decent, "where the people are pleasantly strange" haha cute. he has a good voice too, and the music video was fun. lolwut paramore, i think it's moreso popular because hayley's just hot rather then their music being good, sadly. however, good music, saw them live at warped tour a while back, they're ok. wtf Apoclyptica is popular ? O_o well ... they are pretty awesome , but im probably biased from being a cello player. oh and rise against is fucking awesome as well INCOMING SHIT FEST OF RAP what garbage rap is. kayne seemed ok, and i liked naz's lyrics so, basically -mainstream rap is trash - seriously -mainstream hiphop is garbage, like i said before, it's just a bunch of "socially acceptable porn videos" - mainstream alternative rock has a couple gems , aside from that it's just generic sellout garbage - and there is no mainstream metal. lols - and if you have a cute face with good vocals you go multi platinum - the total sum of surface area of bare skin on hot ladies is proportional to the amount of revenue you make and inversely proportional to making good music So i retract my previous statement about all mainstream music being bad Instead I will go with, 99% of mainstream hiphop and rap is shit I don't care how popular or how unknown a band is, as long as they are playing music from their heart and making original interesting music for me to listen to. most bands get popular by seling out, but good point personally, i don't care the genre, just the message the music is making inspirational music? writing about loss? love? when i turn on the radio all i hear is "o hey we're doing this to make money" | ||
