This doesn't really deserve a thread in BW or anything, so here's a blog. There are some new details about the Jaedong vs Bisu Bo5.

From GOMTV.net:

March 1, KST(GMT+9) 18:00

* Map order : Andromeda - Destination - Medusa - Colosseum2 - Andromeda

[ Prize Breakdown ]
- 1st Place Winner : 7,200 USD
- 2nd Place Winner : 720 USD + Notebook computer

Neat cash for "just" a bo5. Going to be epic.

It's not just a bo5. It's the game between the season 1 and season 2 GOM winners, not just an exhibition between two very good players. So I only assume the prizes would be high.

Anyway, I'm hoping for a 3-2 with long and good games. I'm sure both of them have what it takes to play to win and for the audience aswell.

I guess it's better but both Stork and Nony practiced in Single Player on laptops when they were staying at the hotel during Blizzcon I think.

I would call that last minute cramming LOL. If I were at blizzcon, I would try to look around and stay calm instead of shut up in my hotel trying to get some last minute practice in

When you think about the main sponsors its pretty clear they have this as a marketing thingy, everyone wants the same computer as was given out in a starcraft tournament.

I'm very excited about this, predicting these nowadays is so damn hard, it could go 3-0 either way or it could end 3-2.. ;;

Actually, the maps favor zerg more than toss.

But money and fame is not the important thing in this matchup.

Whoever loses in this BO5 will be shit-talked by the haters so much it will be beyond control.

Andromedaaaaaa!!! I used to hate that map so much... but now I love the big army clashes. Hoping to see an epic macro game between the two of them. Expecting JD to mop up Destination, Medusa he could 5pool maybe? If he doesn't it favors Bisu, even though I think JD will win it anyways.

3-0 or 3-1 JD

You're so right. Perhaps for the better, perhaps for the worst, fanboys of both will use this as conclusive proof as to which one is better, even if one of them doesn't practice. Assuming they don't play ever again, this Superfight will be used as evidence a year from now.

To all the laptop people: You can watch reps and it's not like progamers don't bring a keyboard and mouse everywhere. So in reality all you're using it for is the screen, which a laptop is just fine for.

Hot_bid, no offence but you're obsessed with ELo rankings.

Also, a laptop proves usefull for everyone, even if you can't play starcraft very well on it.

I think what you meant to say that no matter if Bisu wins (which he will) or if he loses people will talk shit about him...

No matter how well he plays or how many players he defeats nobody likes him and I dont know why he has so many haters -_-

As far as I know, Andromeda favors tosses. In fact if toss survives the first hydra push, he can go sair+reaver, which is very strong on this map. Remember that Bisu > Jaedong exactly on this map in ProLeague

Just like how the zergs would most likely find a counter to the mech build.
Although these maps do heavily favor JD, he should win.
Unrelated, is this going to be counted in the TLPD? Like officially (unlike the STX Masters).

The Korean League record for Andromeda is 40-25(61.5%) for ZvP, so it favors zerg not protoss. To be honest, I'm glad Bisu plays on zerg maps. That would be my first excuse as a Bisu fanboy in a worst case scenario.

EDIT: Considering Hot_bid just said he's going to consider this for ELO rankings I supose yes, the games will count in TLPD.

At first I was going to say that there were more than 65 total Andromeda games but I realized that is just ZvP. Sorry.

If the match is KeSPa sanctioned which I doubt then most likely, but counted or not this will be smth to remember, their first bo5 after all

Yeah, I watched that game fully expecting Jaedong to tear Bisu apart. -_-

The Protoss does have this timing where they can throw a hard punch at the Zerg with the power of the min-only, but for the most part Zerg does have the upper hand.

Jaedong got totally owned by Bisu that Andromeda game though.
