I think they are both moderately staged. Though I'm still going to say man vs wild is better than survivor man simply because he delivers it so much better. Bear Grylls is a better actor and has a sweet acent.

Man vs Wild is more popular and got a bigger break than Survivorman. It's hard to film all the stuff yourself, let alone do all the necessary things to survive.

When he caught a rabit with his bare hands he couldn't catch one so the crew had to trap one, kill it, then stage it.
