YAY :D no really your portraits are awesome but i think you could do more. you have great drawing skills but your creative potential has yet to be shown. try to do sth different plz (the chocolate and the two handed one were steps in the right direction). go faster, sloppier, bigger, try color, destroy sth or paint with your dick (joking). don't get too fixed on the photorealistic drawings you'll limit yourself. i believe there is a lot of untouched potential in you, dig it out. show us your soul^^ do sth you care about not only stuff that looks like the photo you "copied" it from. (don't quit doing that though you're really good at it) maybe i'm wrong and that's all you want to do (or maybe you do tons of other stuff and i never see it) but i believe your art would benefit tremendously from it. the drawing of claire is superb as expected....do sth unexpected :D

Sorry if this has been asked before. yeah, well what hot bid said was true for oil paintings. But I definitely will revisit color.. maybe not with oil but with other mediums like pastel and colored graphite. Always wanted to do something with dramatic colors as well. I don't think i'll switch to color as a main style since I think charcoal is more elegant, but I definitely planned to have some colored works here and there. But since I'm really new I have learn it first lol, who know how it would go. If I have a interested idea, like the chocolate lion and 2 hands, I usually try to make it happen. But I definitely planned to branch out more toward other styles. I actually have one, at least what i think is a really interesting idea, but I'm not sure if it's possible (i'm fairly sure it can be done with the right subject), well anyway, that would be for much later.

His hands weren't moving THAT fast and the video is only 200 seconds. His hands would have to move more than 30 times their normal speed if it had taken over 90 minutes. It would just be a blur Good work, even better than the lion. I can see why you might find it relaxing, the video with the music sure was.

It does remind me to focus more on high contrast works later on... cuz the finely detailed art like Claire isn't exactly the strength of charcoal. CptObvious good observation.
