It would be even more WTF than it is if it did that. If you move your mouse at a constant speed, the cursor will move at a constant speed. Acceleration is like you move the mouse twice as fast but the cursor moves four times as fast. It's probably better to look at it in terms of distance travelled. So say you move the mouse 1 inch at 3 inches per second and your cursor moves an inch on the screen. But if you move your mouse the same 1 inch but at 6 inches per second the cursor moves 2. The upshot is that you can't move your mouse distance X to get distance Y cursor movement. For a constant X, Y will vary based on your speed. This is a great way to fuck up your aim. | ||
