chaos is the korean variant of dota but i never understood it because the korean characters in the ingame tooltips for spells, items, etc. are screwed up for me. guess you need korean windows to display it correctly.

i don't think you can really play chaos as a non korean, because someone would have to translate all that stuff, and even then its hard because you cant look it all up while ingame.

Girl in the korean version is ugly as balls, unfortunately. At least in the Japanese one she was cute as hell, so more guys would actually watch it, but for the most part the Korean version is just fan service for korean girls.

I am not speaking relatively, I am speaking in absolutes. I detest her face. She tries to do manga faces which is like trying to do a spirit bomb. Not only is it just as impossible, it's just as lame if someone does it in real life, and she does it on television in front of millions of people. If her face was pretty this would be her only sin. However she looks like a toad with an ugly 1920's Chinese ricefarmgirl haircut. This barely disguises the fact that she has a good 1-2 inches of face between the outermost corner of her eyes and the edge of her temple when looking at her face directly. This gives her an almost "Hey Arnold!" look, or for those of us who have never seen this show, her head is shaped like a football. On top of that her basic features are not attractive at all, somewhat below average for a typical Korean girl, which is saying a lot. She has a stocky body similar to aforementioned rice farmers, and I have to see her in her bathing suit every fucking episode. The episodes are 1 hour long and I see so much of her face/body that I am flaccid for the rest of the day.

On top of all this, her character is a two-timing blood-sucking cunt. SPOILER; She likes one dude, he leaves for a bit, she gets with dude b. Dude a comes back and starts flirting, she starts leaning back to dude a, loses the gift that dude b gave her, eventually cheats on dude b with dude a. Then instead of having his righteous revenge, dude b's sister comes and fucks everything up by making some sort of sports tournament out of his desire to never see dude a and cumdumpster in HIS FAMILY'S SCHOOL. Dude b has to endure seeing dude a kiss cumbucket, eventually gives up on the competition. You'd think this was bad enough right? Well slutbag gets tired of dude a, goes back to dude b, but still meets up with dude a on the side daily, reminisces about him, etc. Dude b tries hard as fuck but she gives in to kiss him after a ton of shit, including when she dumps him because he beat the shit out of some asswhipe who was cheating on cumlicker's best friend and was talking (justified) trash about cumlicker. /SPOILER. The greatest irony is that she prides herself in her sense of justice and being righteous.

If all of this wasn't bad enough, she is ugly as fuck and the guys that like her are attractive, so she basically gets cock that is way out of her rice-farming league, and is a bitch about it and to everyone involved. Fuck Geum JanDi and fuck this show.

I prefer Mei-chan no Shitsuji (http://wiki.d-addicts.com/Mei-chan_no_Shitsuji ) in terms of the 'poor girl goes to elite school' genre it's a lot more eccentric and the quality of the acting is better (plus it has a lot of familiar faces for me from my Sentai/Tokusatsu fandom such as Takeru Sato and the Takagi twins.)

I quite enjoyed the first series of Han Yori Dango, but series two was just way too overly melodramatic for me. I think that's where a lot of Japanese dramas fall flat - they get lost in annoying romantic bollocks and forget their original plot (Nobuta wo Produce was a particularly vivid example of this drama derailment.)

I've seen a couple of episodes of the Korean version, but I'm not particularly impressed with it. I prefer more action orientated dramas like 'Rescue' or older dramas which were a lot more comedy based like 'My Boss, My Hero.' (Japanese version.) or Super Sentai series like 'Engine Sentai Go Onger.' and 'Tomica Rescue Force.' or the Kamen Rider franchise (Kiva, Kabuto, Blade, Decade etc.)

It gives girls unrealistic expectations for males. The main characters are all rich, classy, tall and "pretty". Most men simply aren't. But I like Geum Jan Di's best friend. She's pretty.
