Some of you may know me from videos or have seen me on USEAST or iccup one time or another. I come to you today with a request. I want you to think right now, of some of the best Starcraft stuff you saw in the pros last year. (2008 Calendar year) I want epic moments, compelling games, insane strats. I'm not looking for specific "pimp" plays per say, I'm looking for brilliant moves, crazy moments, or just anything tense/exciting in general that stands out above the rest. These sorts of things are different for different people so I'm interested to see what people suggest.
I'm going to be starting work on a "Starcraft: The best of 2008" highlight video. Very similar to what I did last year, only I hope to expand on this and make it better. And one of the things I'm looking for is feedback. So here I want nominations! What stuck out for you last year among all the games you watched? Could be from OSL, MSL, Proleague, GOMTV, anything that was broadcasted live is fair game just about. I might set up a poll after nominations where you can vote for your favorite clips.
I want to stick to 5 clips more or less and there's only one clip that I know will be making the cut so far the epic finish to Savior/TT in November:
From about 13:40-15:40.
Stuff like that is what I'm looking for and I have a couple other ideas but I want this to be more a collaborative than what I've done in the past.

Agree on Boxer vs. HiYa, that is an awesome display of what Boxer is.
Yeah... I never watched them... I saw pimpest plays and got all excited, then saw they were like 5 gigs of full videos... No thanks.
I just watched your 2007 video, Lucky fool... I really hope you put more effort into this one if you're asking for help... All you did for 2007 was string 5 clips into one video... Which is fine but, the only effort from doing that is in finding the clips. Don't make us find them for you if that's all you're gonna do.
Just thought I would say, if TT was watching his shuttle at the end he would have won. He unloaded his units late, and he didnt make his reaver target fire the big clump of lings attack on the left side of the pylon. He killed off the single lings attack on the bottom right side.

I'm not making you do anything sir. I'm simply asking for clip suggestions here. -.-
The point of a project like this is to compile clips into one location for ease of viewing. Editing and cutting in a project like this takes away from the reality of the moment in my opinion, I love raw, unedited starcraft in crazy moments, and so far I've found others do too.
Jaedong ensnare is great. Definitely a possibility.
Some of the Korean lists were a real downer, probably because I was expecting something that I had never seen before and I had seen most of the games already.
I believe that is the game I'm looking for. Can't remmeber exactly who played in it, but it was where Tempest just pwned the 2 rax proxy rush on Byzantium. i was like HOLY SHIT When I saw the dragoon had around 30 kills :O
What I find a sad fact, though, is that StarCraft has become so much more cookie cutter than it used to be. Sure, there are brilliant, and sometimes creative moves, but rarely are any actually "pimp." The flair, the insanity that used to be amongst players in the micro era has faded away through macro monsters like Flash.
