[H] weird icc connection issue

I can host and join games on iccup without issue. However, when friend A tries to join one of my games or vice versa, we get a "latency too high" error. When friend B hosts, both friend A and I can both join and game together.

Friend A can join games from the game list and other people can join games he hosts.

I've got ports 6112-6119 forwarded, and I am not running a firewall.

Anyone have any clue how to fix this?

hmm, i remember having this issue...
i would have him make a game, i would join it.
then i would make a game and he would be able to join mine... not sure why though

In my experience this isn't an iccup thing so much as a general SC thing. I believe it stems from using routers possibly but i'm not really sure. I know I remember back on US East we'd have 5 people and it'd take some weird combo of "lat breaking" as we called it so we could all eventually get in one game together because certain people couldn't join other people's games unless they previously were in a game together first.
