1) Why so much spam so late in the game? I don't have anything against a player choosing to do it... but in this game it seemed to be hurting you. You were attacking minerals with your dragoons, your own dragoon with your dragoon... etc. I think you would actually play a bit better if you were more careful. Anyone can misclick but you are just asking for it. 2) Why did you make your support bay so early? If you were going shuttle, obs, reaver, then you didn't need to make the bay until you were just about to start building the obs. If you were planning on getting intel on the enemy's unit count etc at that time then that would allow you to choose whether to go obs or reaver when the shuttle finished, but it didn't look like that was the case. 3) You expanded with 1 gate robo while sending your reaver to harass? Wasn't that incredibly risky? I don't think you had any significant intel into what he was doing at that point. Your build just countered his dt drop pretty much perfectly... not to mention he didn't handle reaver harass well. | ||

I guess I sorta switched my mind on what to do a couple times which was a very bad choice. On the other hand, I knew that he was going for dt's or at least fake range(for dt's) because of his cyber core timing when it started spinning, it was off ever so slightly I think like right after he saw mine spinning, which meant that he was faking it. | ||

Or he just mined gas a little bit later? There was no way you could suspect dt or dtdrop (who does that anyway? I think I've encountered an one base vs one base dt drop like once or twice in my protoss career) because it just doesn't matter on ramp maps when you get the range. You can just add a pylon, have fluent goon production and so on before having to worry about range. Well, on some occasions it does matter (if you do an aggressive 2 or 3 gate build) but it only matters against an early expansion from your enemy... or a very risky, unit cut tech from your opponent. | ||
