Well,
I'm at work not able to think properly because I will play German King of the Hill match against faculty.GoOdy at 6:15 PM CET today..
I know that I'm not bad and I can definately beat him, but I really feel pressured right now and can't get rid of the feeling.
My Terran vs Protoss is by far my best match up right now and the startmap is a Terran map, still I feel unconfortable. Not just because its a match where people will watch, more because I've never won against GoOdy in an important game.. (lost WCG in very close games 1-2 to him).. T_T
I really respect him as player, hopefully I will calm down before the games and be able to show off what I'm capable of. I mean, I've nothing to lose anyway, because no one believes in me.

Thanks.. T.T! Thanks everyone. I have self confidence, but it makes me sad that nearly no one believes in me! Gosubets were 98% GoOdy 2% me yesterday... NOW its 68% for me-_- I don't know who went all-in on me. T_T

the way i see it is - you have no pressure to win. you only have pressure to do your best each game, and whatever happens so be it. try to bring that mindset..results dont matter if you do your best.. nothing else you could do.

A lot of people - including me - are expecting Goody to win, so this should actually boost your confidence and help you to relax because you have nothing to lose but everything to win. From good games to actual wins to an upset in the KOTH, Just think of it as practice games where the community will give you feedback on your play.

Actually, it's a good thing to be the underdog having no one to believe in you, at least thats when I play at my best. Because it's goody who has everything to lose, while you have everything to win ;O

Really nothing wrong with losing to GoOdy, but what hurts most is the thing that broodwar.de community is such a fuck up. They are flaming me because I lost.. I'm newby and a bad loser and they say I would complain about strategies and stuff. Never said one word about it..
