- Don't just read off your paper or read what you have written down, it makes you feel even more nervous. - Make sure you understand your topic completely, this way you can just write down a few bullet points like (SC example ^_^): If you just write down PvP reaver, than you can talk about their uses etc and it keeps you on track without writing down exact words of what to say. - Practicing in front of your parents or friends can help and it allows you to see what some weak points are (areas you have talking about) good luck.

These either requires a massive ego (which makes people hate you) or just pure confidence in your ability and knowledge. Which means that you should know your subject like the back of your hand, should be recall information about it with some fluency without any sort of notes/reminders, and to have spent some time actually thinking about it so that you actually understand it rather than regurgitating information that you've read. As you learn and become more comfortable with public speaking, you should spend as much time as possible learning your subject inside and out and really understanding it, not just knowing it. That should help give you the confidence to get through, and as you do it more and more, you can BS more and more stuff because you can rely on your confidence that you've gained from speaking so much.
