[H]Record on ipod?

Is it possible to record on a Ipod video 30gig (I dont know what generation it is). I found the voice memo option, but i can't find the record button on the ipod... T_T. I tired searching for it online, and it kept saying "press record to record"... how am i suppose to press it if i can't find it?? D:>

BTW: Do i have to use a special ipod microphone?

ipods don't have that function until later hum i think only newest haha but your might be able to im not very usefull lol

You need to buy a 3rd party attachment. The feature has been possible for quite a little while though.

You need the ipod microphone- if you get that you should be good to go.

Yeah you need a special attachment for the Ipod to do that, I work at a RadioShack and I am pretty sure it's an Apple exclusive product. That means I think you have to go through Apple online or to an Apple store. I have one in a mall near me but I am not sure if there is a lot of them.

my friend recorded an entire soliloquy for english (Hamlet)on my Ipod and presented it during class.
Rofl. Teacher thought she was actually prepared n shit cause i brought a wig to increase the aesthetic appeal of the speech ( actually just covered her earphones )
