Just ban Python, luna, bluestorm and all those used unoriginal maps from the map pool forever. Its just aggravating seeing "D+ Python" every single week of the month. They could at least force people to learn and adapt to new maps....

I love Python, it's the best map ever made in MY opinion, but too bad not many people like it now ><

I prefer other maps too, thus I play more MOTW games these days ^^;

Yeah, the new maps are way more fun even if they can be harder to get a hang of. Compared to Python that every person has played on like hundreds of times. :3
At least people are trying to play more maps now, a couple of weeks ago people would never join my games on the new maps. :|

I have seen much more better maps then Python, maybe its because you're so used to it, I think it sucks because of the pathing of the map and MANY things, its far from being BEST.

please good god why do they have LOST TEMPLE 2.4 as a MOTW? LOST FUCKING TEMPLE? What makes it worse is that there are about 10x more LT games then Destination or Byzantium games! PLAY THE NEW MAPS PEOPLE

Python is a very good map, that is undeniable. But yes people should play a variety of maps.

Python is a classic, and people overplaying it just shows how popular it is. It is very popular at the lower end of the ladder because it's a good map to develop the basics on. Having said that, I do agree that people need to get out and play other maps.

imo they should replace MOTW with MOTD. Playing the same two maps for a week gets really boring.

It was the same issue back in the days with Lost temple. (1v1 LT no noob)

Actually, the only thing you have to do is remove the cliffs from natural, and then Lost temple = Python.

Guess we have a winner pattern there

I honestly dislike large amounts of map variety (just ask anyone lol) because I always feel like I have more maps to learn rather than focus on playing well, so when the motw is boring it makes me happy. When they have a boring motw and a unique motw, people complain about all iccup players playing on the boring one, but that is the fault of the community... not the motw choices.
