in the summer, fire island is nice, you take a ferry together, there are small cute shops that girls like and really nice beaches. but winter time, i guess you could always do central park/iceskating/zoo although it is very obvious and you get zero creativity points. someone mentioned bodies exihibit and although i dunno how romantic it is, you could combine it with the seaport and make a day of it. If it is a nice day, you can do seaport, then walk across the brooklyn bridge, eat at grimaldi's and check out the promenade. theres always museums and besides the obvious (met, moma, guggenheim, natural history) chicks seem to also dig the whitney and the cloisters. this really depends on her interests and if she is an art person. altho the space show at the natural history is amazing and pretty much everyone will enjoy it. my recommendation would be to find out what her interests are and tailor the day around it. if she likes art, you can walk around soho and visit a bunch of major galleries for free. if she likes interor design, there is this major show I forget the name. but you know shit like that, doing your homework and putting some thought into it will get much better results and make you seem special. | ||
