BACON IS MUTHAFUCKIN DELICIOUS
i don't really have it that often though. i'll agree with you on the decent-quality sausage links thing... but bacon is still delicious. i can't explain it.

I actually love crunchy bacon and it's the only way I can really enjoy it. Floppy or chewy bacon does not agree with me.

Bacon really needs to be cooked to just the perfect mix of crunchy and chewy, otherwise it sucks.
I used to eat it when I was a kid, before I became vegetarian. I would probably still like it now, I just try to avoid meat as often as possible though.

Mmmmm bacon... I love it, as long as it is cooked right, I hate eating bacon when it has been burnt, undercooked, or is just bad quality bacon(such as really fatty, or just no flavour). My favourite way of eating bacon is with something else though, such as in a breakfast sandwich, wrapped with more meat (like Hawk said) or in a sub or something.
Assuming one can prepare it right it is delicious though

My personal favorite is the small-medium sized variety with the distict two 1/2's, one is very crunchy, and they other of pure fat. They are especially delicious when they have that hickory flavor :D

Call me weird, but I think they go great with rice, but maybe thats cus I eat everything with rice ^.^

Bacon is the best meat ever, besides really good steak. It's the best meat on sandwiches, it's the best meat with breakfast. If only it wasn't such a chore to cook. I don't understand how anyone could not like bacon. The crunchy-chewy texture + ridiculously tasty flavor = meat that is full of win.

Rice is such an essential part of my diet. And bacon seems to complement rice very well.
I just wish bacon was actually healthy so I wouldn't have to cook/eat it in moderation .

well I actually don't like bacon very much. I did when I was younger, but got sick of it when I was 14 or so and haven't touched it since.

but anyway, i love bacon but one thing that really bugs me is that they only come in strips. i want bacon STEAKS if that's even possible. even if the strips are "thick sliced", biting into them isn't as satisfying as biting into a chunk of meat.

Bacon done in specific ways is really really good to me.
That is: Carbonara, Around certain cuts of steak, in a sandwich lunch or breakfast variety.
Also if we can also consider things very similar to bacon like pancetta then wow. Pancetta is amazing on so many things. Fucking love Italian cuisine.

I like it as well, but the bacon has so much grease that I feel horrible after eating any amount of bacon with rice.

crunchy-chewy texture doesn't really sound appealing to me. I don't find the flavor particularly tasty either. This is what I'm talking about though. It's interesting about how we can disagree about something like this.
