drop a game in group stage since he has an easy group while stork has a hard group!
Thats my guess!

...what?
Oh, it's a implied discussion about WCG.
Uh, Jaedong will kick butt, maybe get 2nd seed to avoid facing fellow Koreans, though I think it's safer if Stork did it, since he plays later.

jaedong has been known for dropping games to random ass people, yet schooling top players perfectly

I wouldn't be suprised if this WCG happens like last WCG where stork gets the gold.

Jaedong doesn't need to avoid Stork. Or Luxury, for that matter. He'd be the favorite against either of them.
May the BeSt man win.

Since you are new I'm going to explain it to you in a nice way. The koreans always drop games on purpose to avoid each other, they always want to get all 3 medals. Gold, Silver, Bronze..!
That doesn't work if they meet before the semi-finals.

Ok ? Jaedong will not drop a game because he's afraid to lose. More like the Koreans play as a team !

I would think Stork would drop since he plays second, Jaedong should try to all-kill, so in the slight chance that he fails, Stork can all-kill.
If Jaedong intentionally loses 1, than Stork has to win all of them since he goes after, there's no buffer. Kinda bad for Stork, but it's not like it goes on your KeSPA and everyone knows why you did it. I wonder if ppl try to be chummy to them so they can get the free win.

Come to think of it maybe Stork will drop a game and Jaedong won't. Stork playes later, but has harder opponents, but he could just win all games and throw the last game.

The koreans have dropped matches every year to get themselves in the best possible position for 123. I agree with Naruto, this year wont be any different and jaedong may drop games.

However what is interesting is that jaedong will be playing 2 live matches. Will he drop one of those?

@op are you new to progaming? as if jaedongs cares who he will face next rounds.

he will win wcg undefeated, i think the only one who he has to worried about is luxury.

And yet some people fail to understand this.

Of course JD or Stork will drop a game. Everyone in their position would do it. It's a team competition after all.

No. He is humble and is going to respect what his coaches tell him is best for Korea.

Thats not the point, its about Korea winning as meny medals as possible - therefore, he may drop games to increase Stork/Luxury's chances.

You are asking me if I'm new to progaming? With 137 posts compared to my 5000+ ? Thats a good joke. The Koreans always dropped and always will drop games to get the best possible result for Korea.

#1#2#3!

Also the friend of lilsusie told me that this will be the last year for Starcraft at the WCG. Next year will be Starcraft 2 (I doubt that).

oh god, how about some people actually read the damn thread before posting shit, yeah, i just see jaedong and drop game in the same sentence and i must proceed to defend his honor at all costs.

of course one of the koreans will drop a game, it happens every year, korean pride wont let them lose a spot to inferior foreign players, especially if they are on the same team, more money for the team.

If Stork wins all games following games need following results.

Jaedong < UsK
UsK > Bruce

This will give UsK 3 wins and 1 loss and with beating Jaedong he would finish first.
If thats not going to happen, Stork has to drop a game.

If Jaedong wins against UsK it doesn't matter and Stork has to drop a game which could be a gamble because Draco/Legend are capable of beating Stork with a all-in play. (He's just to good to go standard on him)

If Stork has the hard group wouldn't it make sense for him to drop the game and Jaedong not? O_O

PS I haven't looked at the brackets.

If Stork drops a game in the hard group and then fails against a all-in of Draco or Legend he is out. Thats the risk I'd say.

Edit: Jaedong is 4-0. Stork will be the game dropper.^^

Jaedong won all games, now you say stork will drop...Stork won all games.

I told you they don't care this year.
