It's cliche now but I'm really sorry about what happened to you, I hope your family and yourself can move on in a stable way but to always keep him in your thoughts. Hopefully this will make you a better person in loving others like your mom or just other people in general.

How can people vote against you being a good person? Sure I don't know you but its perfectly normal for you to cry if a loved one dies. That doesn't make you bad, makes you human. Sorry for your loss, couldn't imagine the feelings you're probably experiencing right now.

My uncle passed away from cancer several months ago and I cried like a baby and continued to cry occasionally for a month or two after, can't even imagine what it's like to lose a father. I hope for the best for you and your family and am deeply sorry for your loss. Don't really have much to say in terms of condolences, but I've definitely come to appreciate how incredibly amazing a man my Uncle was and I somehow find comfort in that. Hopefully you'll find a way to help cope with your loss as well.
