Just try to have sex when it doesn't bother anyone and let your roommate sleep, it's how normal human relations work! if its his girlfriend coming over every few days its completely different. but if its some hot girl that hes bringing home and has an opportunity to have a great time, there are just certain events in your friend/roommate's life that you can probably be a bit inconvenienced. if he was bringing home girls every night and keeping you up then again, it'd be different. but this was the first time (according to the OP). we've all missed class in college and we've all stayed up late and not gotten sleep. one night of sleep is NOT a big deal. i don't know if you're some huge pimp where sex with a new girl you find attractive is just an everyday occurrence, but i'd say its a special enough circumstance to suck it up and suffer one night for your roommate's sake. it's definitely not the same thing when you turn it around. sex with a hot girl, when your roommate is inconveniencing you for the first time, is NOT on the same level as one night of sleep. maybe you don't feel sex is that special, because you have it all the time or you have it not at all. whatever. lets say its the OSL finals, and its Boxer and Yellow, and your roommate wants to watch it in your room but you want to sleep. it's an important and rare enough event to suck it up and let him have his one night. how selfish is it to make him give up something that will obviously give him a lot of happiness for something that is a mere inconvenience to you (some lost sleep / discomfort) for one night for the first time? man a lot of you would make really anal, uptight, horrible roommates / friends... hey one night of my roommate getting laid, lets report him and get him kicked out of the dorm. what the fuck, that's the most uptight nerdy passive aggressive response ever. at least talk to the guy. | ||

The person that's bringing back the girl should do what he can to give his roommate some fair warning if possible and if it becomes a frequent thing he should look into finding options other than sexiling his roommate all the time. The person trying to sleep should cut the guy some slack if it's the first time and certainly should talk to the guy before even thinking about going to an RA. Just ask the guy to give some warning and if this is going to be a regular thing (bring back girls all the time) that he find some other place to do it. | ||
