I think I can manage to send some larger resolutions to you. 'Fall' was, unfortunately, taken with my old 4 megapixels piece of shit camera, so I will actually have to enlarge it in Photoshop - it may lose some quality. Same applies to others, altough not to the same extent, since I've taken the rest with my DSLR.

They really emphasize on the word that you, or the author chose for to represent it..

Thank you. I've spent quite alot thinking for a good title for that particular photograph. In the end, I just went with my thoughts at the moment I was shooting it, I guess. Basically the dramatic, crowded sky gives the sensation that it is somewhat hard to penetrate, like a wall of some sort. This is reflected in the water giving the impression of a surrounding 'wall'. Like a prison.

Also, gazing at the sky is, since Romatism afaik, looked upon as a desire to 'reach the absolute'. Look up at the sky, feel dreamy, then realise you are traped in your fragile and flawed organic body. You cannot escape your own nature. The sky shows you this. It is imprisoning.

Hope that clarifies a little (I'm all about personal interpretation, in photography especially).

I think so, but only tomorrow. It's late now, and Photoshop runs soooo slow on my Pentium III 256 SDRAM joke of a computer, it's really horrible.

This is the same reason I will reply to your PM only tomorrow, Chill.

The exposure for Dreamer was 30 seconds, maximun automatic exposure time for most semi-professional DSLRs (on Bulb you can keep it longer, ofc, but I dont have a remote yet.)

I like the pictures a lot but I don't really understand the titles of the last 2, why did you choose to call it imprisonment when I see such a free and open world? And in dreamer whoever's in the picture doesn't really look like he's dreaming, more like despairing, or at least some kind of sadness that doesn't really fit with dreaming. Might just be the feeling of sadness I always have when I look at those low density kind of areas though.

Beautiful spot you found there by the way, where did you take imprisonment exactly? That scenery is just fantastic, we hardly have any natural beauty like that left at all in Holland.

edit: oh I see the imprisonment question has already been asked

I'd love a 1280x800 version of imprisonment.
