Hello TL: This is Initial_H.C.

I've been lurking on TL for about an year now and I visit this site many, many times a day. I've been playing Starcraft casually ever since it came out, with several breaks in between. SC soon became one of my greatest passions after discovering this huge pro scene in Korea and the popularity of it. Throughout my life, I haven't really been committed much towards a site, or forum mainly because I am not living my life around that particular theme of the site. As opposed to SC, it's an all season long kind of thing. I really want to be part of this huge SC community and I have been so hesitant of finally opening up. I'm a really quiet and shy guy and would really want to meet people with the same interest.

I am a male, Canadian born Chinese and I am currently 18. I live in Toronto (well Ontario but everyone seems to refer all of Ontario as Toronto) and I'm in my first year university at York U majoring accounting (for the people of Ontario). As I mentioned, I've been playing SC casually ever since it came out and I'm just not good enough to play competitively =.=". My other interests includes watching wrestling, playing poker, and just chilling with friends. The problem is, none of my friends are into SC as much as I, or any other TL member here so I often feel really left out only being able to talk to myself about it. I'm currently single but I have a few ex's and throughout the experiences I start seeing life better and begin to think logically rather than emotionally.

For the record, I'm not fit to play SC competitively as much as I want to. With only a 135 APM peak with horrible micro/macro/bo/timing as a Terran. Which pretty shows I don't have the mechanics of the game. I've tried doing some commentary, and as a shy guy, it's way too hard for me and it's just dead air everywhere. That being said, I guess I enjoy watching the SC more than trying to play competitively. Hey, I'm no Boxer/Nada or Tasteless/LilSusie... but I sure love watching them (hopefully they get to see this hehehe >.<).

I like my life to be simple really. Whether I'm single or eventually married, time will tell. But starting a family is not in mind considering all the responsibilities and my laziness. With my accounting degree I hope to get a decent job making enough income for myself in the future. One thing I really want to do is go to Korea and watch the OSL finals. Heck, it doesn't need to be the OSL finals, just any SC event. Seeing the players in person would be awesome and meeting them, even crazier. Having a job with the e-sports would be freaking awesome, but it looks to be impossible for me, after all I know nobody and I don't know Korean.

Like I said, I really want to be involved somehow and be part of something I love. I don't need to have an important role in this site, but I'm fine with being just a passive poster.

But I have several ideas in mind:
- How about someone who recommends and gives advice to the liquibetters out there? Currently I'm 13 for 24, with a 54%. Hmm... maybe I'm not that trustworthy yet? Hey, it's SC and anything can happen right? Also, this could be a team effort rather than a solo thing. We don't want angry TLers bashing on the liquidbet-analyst right?

- Writing articles/predictions for upcoming SC events or anything else. I guess this could be linked to the liquidbet-analyst, and there are already many writers. I usually make up my own write ups on like Facebook or something (which nobody reads because none of my friends have interest in it) and bring a little life and drama.

- A TL meet up to get together to go to Korea or any other place to watch an SC event. I'm sure there's some of this in the past but I really want to eventually watch an SC event =D.

- Hmm... the ideas seem a little weak after writing out of my thoughts XD But hey... maybe you guys can add some more ideas!
