Lately I have not played a lot, not nearly enough the amount of training I would need to meet my expectations for the upcoming WCGs. So since I'm starting practicing again I thought I should record FPVODS and watch them over and over so I could find my flaws and get better at a faster rate! Still I don't know at all where to get started and which programs to use. If anyone can suggest me some decent programs, maybe not too complex to use, it would be a great help for my next results [image loading]

hypercam 100%. easiest to use, takes up very few resources, almost 0 setup time, very easy to find online for free.

I don't think ClouD would show his builds and what he's doing to his opponents....

He can released them AFTER wcg anyway.

Actually I am planning to do this for myself to study the moments I get lazy, forget to macro or the reasons sometimes I micro better than others. This will also help me improve my speed and multitasking, that's why I am doing it [image loading]

By the way if anyone wants to look along with me and give suggestion on mIRC it will be all cool, but I am not planning to put them on Youtube or make commentaries like NonY or MistrZZZ did.

On the topic, I've got a question: How do you record in FP, then record the sound later while watching replay, and sync them both and put them together? Because it'd be pretty difficult to commentate if you were playing while commentating. (this doesn't relate to ClouD's scenario, just a question)

I'd look along with you, but I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to give any quality suggestions.

btw; in case it's not obvious, I model my play after Cloud so that's why I am eager to get his FPVods

yep yep. i used camtasia for a long time. i tried fraps. hypercam OWNS them both. i'd say try hypercam first and only if you somehow have problems, try other things

Ok I think I've got quite a nice setup now so I can start recording and watching. If anyone who thinks he's quite knowledgeable in Starcraft can help me finding my flaws and is willing to watch some FPVODs just tell me. I'll start practicing seriously again tomorrow and I'm aiming for a WCG medal so help would be appreciated.
