So you and me and all of the rest of the TL crew (not crew in the way like one of the admins is going to be like "fuck you for being a poser!" but people with accounts) are in a relationship/Starcraft rut. It seems like all of the blog posts are about getting in a gaming slump or unrequited love. And the worst part is that we tear each other apart with obtuse comments after people pour their souls out in a text processor that glitches out a bunch.
Maybe both parties are the same. Some of us post stories about our inner most secrets (Facebook syndrome, anyone?) to relieve our stress while others call the posters "pussies" for not being able to handle their shit. Which group is right? Obviously the trash talking forum trolls are having the exact same problem or else they wouldn't be lashing out but the bleeding hearts are also someone guilty in that the never actually explain their fucking problem (that would have been in bold if I could figure out how to use the buttons at the top.)

So how are we going to start handling our shit? Everyone should find a game that you can pwn noobs at as to get your aggression out. Try HL2 deathmatch. I just picked it up and because I did a bit of CS Source binge this winter I can wail on kids. After you've calmed yourself down a bit you can maybe tell that special someone how you feel. Try it you might like it.

oh man i love hl2dm, my 2nd fave game of all time behind SC. If anyone wants to play that w/ me, PM me =O
Sadly the north american community of that game got much smaller after a few years, and I can barely play it now as a result. Luckily, SC doesnt have that prob.. i can leave for 2 yrs and come back to an awesome community every time ^^
