So this is the first season that I've really played a lot of games on ICCUP. Finally, it seemed like I was good enough climb the ranks (I was winning about 2/3 of my games vs. Toss, 1/2 vs. zerg, and 1/3 vs. Terran. See my last blog about my problems against terran...). Anyway, I was sooo excited today because I was at 1950, and was in the process of raping a toss.
I get a message that the server is going to reset for the next season. "No Problem", I think, "I've got plenty of time to win this and finally get my D+. But somehow he manages to come back (He broke my contain despite my 4 bases and cracklings, and raped my expansions with DTs). I desperately start another game, ZvZ this time to make it short, and lose again (it took a long time though). One more try i thought, i can still get above 2000 if I beat a D+ on a MOTW. But no, as my 12 hatch dies to proxy two gate, I realize that it will be quite some time yet before I finally reach that illusive D+.

Hey, D is still hard for me :/
Although I realized at some point that I could probably get to D+ quite quickly by just doing all in 3 hatch lings every single game, regardless of map or matchup.

Not everyone plays this game as a freakin maniac some of them are new to the scene so theres no point in saying "D+ IS NOOB I'M A C+ PROGAMER" w/e I wish you the best of luck in the next season and hopefully you'll get that bastard D+ :D

I've been to D+ once, but i lost 3 pvps in a row (the mu that GOT me to D+ and i was so mad i nearly beat up my brother for no reason)

Yeah, maybe, but I never practice that build so I am quite bad at it and it seems harder to pull off than 3 hatch ling.

You can, I do. Just tell people you don't have the ah because you're on a mac. Search around the iCCup and TL forums. There is a program called "BNet Commander" or something along those lines that lets you change your gateways.
