Thanks to TeamLiquid & Micronesia, I now have all the working components to watch any movie from my laptop on my television!

Last night I made my brother watch Kids! with me and he hated it! Anyways, what are some of your favorite/funniest movies you ever watched? I start school Monday so I told my parents they are obligated to spend this weekend with me watching movies. Nothing too pornographic though because my Dad likes that then I'll feel uncomfortable.

The only movies I've seen in the last few years are "The Exorcist" and "Iron Man", and they aren't "funny" at all, but I heard Tropic Thunder is a comedy so you may want to see it with your parents.

If you're looking for comedy then go with the popular ones like Wedding Crashers, Talladega Nights, The Big Lebowski, Big Daddy, Bruce Almighty, etc. Just go with the "big" comedy names like Will Farrel, Adam Sandler, Steve Carrell, and so forth.

All of the Leslie Nielsen movies are funny. Specifically, the 3 naked gun movies as well as wrongfully accused (iirc)

Apollo 13 is awesome if you want to be immersed, but isn't for everyone (my favorite movie).

fun fact: Back in 8th(?) grade, I knew this fat kid who looked exactly like Officer Farva. It got to the point where even teachers called him Farva because it was catchier than whatever the fuck his real name was. The Big Lebowski and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas are my two favorite funny movies (and two of my favorite all time favorite movies in general). Both are crazy and unconventional.
