Well tomorrow I'm moving to SF to go to SF state college. It will be my freshman year. I was wondering what TL.neters are up there and if any are possibly going to that college. Also if anyone can give me any heads up or tips that would be great.

Your going to get laid alot .... alot alot .......... alot.... the bay area is so rad, anybody can have a fucking blast their. Partys,culture, girls, things to do. You are going to be in heaven if you are anything but a republican or a very religious christian!

I don't live there but I go to school there ^_^ (Academy of Art).

Also everything AttackZerg said is pretty much true. Although even if you're a Republican or religious Christian you'll be still be treated well, just try not to be preachy or anything. Also get used to the smell of pot since you'll probably smell it a lot on the streets. Anyways, good luck!

The Bay Area is nice, I go to school there too (originally from Chicago).

My advice is to make sure you see as many concerts as you can, because SF is a huge music hub. The Fillmore is one of the world's best small venues.

SF is a wicked cool city, it's got enough people that there is always, always something big going on yet it kind of retains a "town" feel just because of all the residential areas downtown and the nice hills.

Welcome to the Bay Area! There's lots of people here including me, lots of TL.netters nearby in Berkeley and surrounding areas as well. I'm actually the Walnut Creek / Concord area, but it's very very close

Berkeley has Thursday Night Starcraft Nights (every Thursday ofc), I don't know where it is since I don't got to those, but w/e. Yosh still goes to them iirc.

I am really glad to have so many TL people close by, this is awesome.

Also I have family in Berkley, and that college is about 3 mins from there house. Id be very down for visiting if some of you are there.

Indeed, lots of homosexuals to be seen in bay area. With a governator to boot. California is THE best place in the world, and will be better once it secedes from the union and appoints the governator as permanent citizen-emperor. Did I mention the perfect weather?
