1) You said you were putting a forge because you didn't scout anything from him yet (I assume a 12 hatch/pool) but it seemed like you built the forge a few seconds too early for it to be anything else besides that you were gonna forge first no matter what. 2) You spent 75 mins trying to get the probe out of the failed proxy cannon lol 3) The location of your secret third is probably best described as 5:30 rather than 11:30 or 12. 4) That gateway positioning looks bad for large units but I could be wrong. 5) You really need to send a follow up probe to scout ASAP or the zerg will do some evil thing like go mutas or lurker or hydras or 3 hatch lings or mass expand or God knows what. 6) When you scout two hydra dens make sure to notify the opponent ahead of time 'no re' so he can't complain when you stomp him. But seriously, if he's going for a hydra break style build and you have a secret third... you really shouldn't be able to afford adding cannons to that choke... you will need every min to defend your nat. If your plan goes wrong and he scouts the third before he goes to break you, you are going to lose it no matter how many cannons you want to add (unless he sucks XD) 7) You said you put down a ridiculous number of cannons, and you are not sure if it was really necessary. It kinda was when you consider that you had 1 zealot lol... I have no idea how to properly go secret 3 base vs zerg though. But overall he was just a very weak zerg haha. At least he seemed mannered. | ||

I didnt really map out cannon placement ahead of time, i think this was actually my first PvZ on zodiac. don't mean to steal your blog but could you tell me how to do this? Camtasia won't record sound in SC. When I hit record in Audacity it records my microphone input. I go to preferences and change Recording device to Realtek HD Audio Input but that doesn't work. The only time I've been able to record any sound is through the wegame.com recording thing in WC3 (unfortunately, the program does not work in SC) thanks | ||

Fraps lags my computer like crazy for I don't know what reason. | ||

But the main thing I noticed is that you liked putting a bunch of buildings on one pylon. Your main base at 9 5 gateways were on 1 pylon and all of your tech was on 1 pylon unitl you warmed in a bunch of units. The biggest thing that bugged me though is what micronesia pointed out. If he had 6 muta would have pwnt your main harder than you would have wanted. And he would have scouted 9, chances are. | ||

Ok so here's the deal. I'm going to go ahead and guess ur new laptop is a dell, in which case it comes with a SigmaTel sound card. This sound card is an ill equipped POS, and in order to record stereo mix (i.e. record the sound coming out of your speakers from BW and various programs) you need to install a driver. To see if you need this driver, go to Start -> program files -> accessories -> entertainment -> volume control. From there go to options -> properties. A dialogue box pops up, select the "recording" bullet, click ok. If there is no option for stereo mix, you wont be able to record the way you want. If you have this option, make sure it is selected before you try and record BW with camtasia, and that should solve the problem. Here's how to get the driver through the LG site: 1. go to http://us.lgservice.com/index_b2c.jsp 2. product support 3. device driver 4. set device type to Notebook and select your operating system 5. search for "sigmatel" I know there was a thread on this problem before (as I had this problem before and stumbled upon it) but I kinda assumed nobody cared so much anymore. Maybe I should just bump that thread.. | ||

Any idea how I can configure it or add a driver to allow me to record stereo mix?
