 i have 4 seasons of corner gas by my dvd player at all times, its briliance is just amazing.once the new season is released im sooo buying it. It is a pretty good tribute to canadian humour, and thats why it does so well up here i think | ||

All my friends really dislike Corner Gas... Not sure why, I think it's pretty funny in a ridiculous type of way. Ew. Your friends watch too much Family Guy and not enough Monty Python. They've lost their Canadian sense of humour and picked up a steaming pile of unwitty, unclever, dumbed down bullshit. Sorry you actually need to have a brain and critical thinking skills to enjoy Canadian/British humour... Baah, I could rant for days. Point is the Corner Gas is a gem among a sea of crap, and it's been awhile since the last decently witty show was created in North America... I can only think of Clone High and other shows that got cancelled after one season. PS: Not saying American humour is bad or unentertaining, but it's quality certainly hasn't been going up in recent years. Ex would be The Simpsons... Ask yourself if its target demographic has gone up or down in intelligence. | ||
