That your parents aren't allowing you to wear it may be a sign that you know that it is something that will be characterized as foolish or as something that will bring you a lot of shame if others happened to know about it. The thing on your face that you cannot take away might be shaving cream, you have realized that the desire you have of becoming part of that team is a responsibility that only a man can take, but the fact that you cannot wipe it out shows me that you are still not ready for it and that you are more like daydreaming the same way a child does about becoming a police officer or a fireman.
