Vietnam World Cyber Games is coming really near :D

proA.June91 Vietnam445 Posts July 11 2008 15:55 GMT #1 Hi hi hi everyone :D How are you guys these days? Oh, you do not know how much I miss you after a long time with out blogging T__T. I've been quite busy recently with my first tourney, my work, my summer schooling (I don't have vacation at all) so I didn't have much time for tell you guys about what's happening in Vietnam eSport community. But today, I'm so excited to shout that: Vietnam World Cyber Games, the 8th WCG for Vietnamese eSport lovers is coming really near. This time, we have: + SC: 4th time + DotA: 2nd time + Fifa: from the beginning of WCG in Vietnam + CS: the FIRST TIME EVER!!!!! (Gratz, CS :D) Oh my god, I cannot wait for it and fortunately, this time, I'm the live updater of WCG, not mentioned to my work about SC stuff in WCG for esport.vn. Hmmm, the leader of referee team also asked me if I could take charge of content section for wcg.vn but I didn't answer. hehe. I think if they give me the bonus, I'll do it ;P. Main thing is still for esport.vn, my lovely firm, right? hehehe. Ok, so let's take a look in our arena for tomorrow matches -------------------------------- Day 1 for preparation -------------------------------------- Section for observing :D The "boundary" between section for spectators and the main arena Main Arena The whole view All of the LAN cables, the necessary wires were carefully taken care of Seats for Gamers covered with white "blanket" ;P (I don't know how it called in English) The stage The view from behind World Cyber Games, here we go -------------------------------- Day 2 for preparation -------------------------------------- All of preparation work are hurriedly finished for tomorrow matches HP was so generous that they sponsored Vietnam WCG with their HP Pavillon product Look at them. They look cute, don't they? Monitor boxes were moved to the main arena for settings Samsung 42 - inch - TV to serve the spectators (We got 4 that kind of TV, totally) Hey hey hey! Don't worry if you think that TV is still soooo tiny. We did have 2 projectors next to the stage for some interesting matches. :D Wow, here are lots of pictures to tell us about the preparation for Vietnam WCG so I don't think we need more. Of course tomorrow, I'll take other photos of the day matches' atmosphere so stay tune for "learning" about our eSport culture. If anyone of you guys in here is in Vietnam now, Hanoi capital to be exact, don't be shy to visit us at "the Arena of Back Khoa University - 42 Ta Quang Buu Street". I gotta leave early in morning tomorrow so I'm afraid that I cannot write any longer. So bye bye. I'm just one of people army who cooperated in hanoi wcg. @ xcetron: we will have the wcg in Da nang (mid Vietnam) and in Ho Chi Minh City (South Vietnam) for qualification soon and then, the champion of local final will come to Ho Chi Minh to compete in the national final which will be held in 27/7
