So my go out to drink with guy got injured last friday in a mysterious basketball injury to his foot, anyway, I want to go out tonight, tuesday, and drink and party anyway cause im a seasoned alcoholic. (no1 else i know wnat to go out tonight)

So I need good tips on going out alone as a dude, anyone got any, its like a bar dance place

You dont have any other friends who would wanna go out and drink? Going out alone doesn't sound like very much fun.

im obviously going to chat up some girls man what other reason am i out drinking, its tuesday, most of my buds work tommorow or something / aint got money

Doesn't really matter, just don't be seen sitting on your own looking at all the groups like a creepy guy, start talking to someone straight away. If anyone asks you why/whether you're alone, say something like 'you know, my friends are really cool and all, but they get weird around girls, like, they go up to them and give them compliments and pay them drinks before they've even met them. So I decided to go out alone tonight for once.'

Or just say your friends are over there and you're going to go meet them in a minute like a normal person.

ya exactly im going to pretend i have a buddy somewhere in the area, like, i got left alone cause he started talking to some girl or something

if youre going alone, go to the place you frequent the most.
if for whatever reason my roommate didnt want to go out, i could have no problem finding a group of people i knew if i were alone. my roommate and i go out 2-4 times a week to only 2 different places, and we know many regulars, bartenders, waitresses, and bouncers know us by name (if not, then they recognize us and wont card).

obv you wont have that if you jump around from place to place.

if youre at a dance place, just ask every girl to dance. get to your comfort level, or maybe a bit more drunk and just go dance.

im so drunk right now, im going in about 50 minutes, drinking water n eating some chow right now so ill keep my energy up, dont want to end up like last week (http://www.teamliquid.net/blogs/viewblog.php?id=73617)

going to the same place same day so maybe ill get lucky
