Yesterday i brought you a game from a time where we loved SKT and KTF - but they sucked horribly. Todays game comes from a time where SKT was the power house of Proleauge and nobody could touch them.
The impending clash between SKT and KTF was always highly anticipated by fans. With the likes of Boxer, iloveoov, midas, gorush and kingdom going up against Reach, Yellow, Nal_Ra, Chojja and Goodfriend - there was every reason to be excited. Proleague was a very different beast at this point in time, late 2005. Particularly because of the two teamplay sets.
With the bitter rivals going at it once again, SKT pulled ahead early going 2-0 up. Iloveoov defeated his nemesis Reach while Kingdom/Gorush defeated the gosu team of YellOw/TheMarine. KTF then turned on the gas, and Hery defeated Midas in the third set, while TheMarine/Chojja took Boxer/Mumyung to school in the second 2v2. KTF had managed to pull the series to an ace match - a game which would not disappoint.
Dreaming of better days
Leading up to this game, Nal_ra was on his 6 game winning streak as ace. That means he won the 5th set for KTF 6 times in a row. Crazy stuff. The wins were as follows; GGPlay 5/31 on Requiem Gorush 6/8 on Forte Doggi 6/14 on R-Point Nada 6/27 on Neo Requiem Oversky 6/29 on Neo Requiem Anytime 7/13 on Rush Hour An impressive field to say the least. To no surprise KTF sent out the noble sun god to dispatch with whoever SKT1 sent.
Of course, the only person right for this job was Boxer. Boxer has quite a bit of history on the map they were to play on, that being Forte. He managed to cause junitoss to freak out in game by typing "base is too small T_T". This event forced KeSPA to create a rule banning ingame chat. On top of that, Boxer had not yet preformed his miraculous So1 run - and he was still emerging from his slump.
When the likes of Nal_ra and Boxer are playing an ace match - you know the game is going to be good. This is their game;
Okay, this isn't the best game that's ever been played but just wow at Nal_ra's micro. The sexy dragoon control gave me many 'no fucking wayyyy' moments. Great to watch, and refreshing from the usual 40 minute macro marathon that people seem to love. Boxer's defense was pretty epic, but Nal_ra is just too good... god damn every time i watch Ra play like this i want to start playing SC again
FYI after this game Nal_ra continued to go on his rediculous ace winning streak.. i can't remember the exact number but he went atleast 9-0 .
amazing blog as usual plexa, can you say anymore about the junwi/boxer thing? I never heard of it before. If you can link somethng that would be nice :D

Me and ecONI use Hamachi more often now but only because it seems there's slightly less delay. We still suck though, I'm stuck in a cycle where I beat ecONI like 3 times in a period of a month and then he continues to rape me for the rest of the year. Rinse and repeat.
I'm trying to play sc more often since I joined iCCup. I raged last week after going something like 2-9 and /clearstats YES'd Right now I'm 1-0 for 1v1 and 3-0 for 2v2. I gotta study for my uni exams which start tomorrow T_T An exam on a Saturday zzz. At least it's 2 hours 10 minutes of 30 multiple choice questions XD

yea i've got exams too T_T im dangerously underprepared for my physics exam on tuesday and music on wednesday... why bother with hamachi when Chaos is better ! get my msn off oni and we'll chat later k

I too am dangerously underprepared for physics, I'm just gonna cram today and tomorrow morning for it. Since it's multiple choice and there are past exam papers I'm feeling like I should do decently. It's the other units I'm worried about. I'll get your msn off oni 4shur
