I went out to a pub with friends to eat and was 30 minutes late to the TSL. Fortunately the TSL was late. I did have to kind of bail on my clan war though because I knew if I didn't go out to eat I'd end up not eating til after the TSL.
On topic, it would have been good etiquette for her to let you go ahead. Maybe she really wanted those potatoes though.
