The final week. The position round. The night that determines the first place team from the... second place team, and so forth. Basically, how we bowl will determine whether we got ~1k dollars, or more like 500 dollars. For most people it isn't a big deal, but us top 2-3 place teams are going to need to give it our best. Although, the county-wide tournament will be open to several of the top place teams, so we are pretty much guaranteed a chance to enter the tournament for a 6k dollar prize. Who would have thought amateur bowling could be so lucrative?

lol damn your prize fund is fuckin huge for a league, wait is that payout for the whole team or per person? I know the ones I've bowled in haven't been to big of a pay out even for 1st place teams. Although the one league I bowled on in penscola had a pretty decent pay out. It was 20 bucks each week and the lineage was only like 5.75 at the time so the rest went to the prize fund. My team ended up 4th or 5th and we each got like 450 dollars each so I couldn't image what the 1st place team got. And yeah positions rounds are a bitch though. I remember last summer after the position rounds 3 teams tied for first. So they ended up determining the winner by total pins which was bs because naturally the team with the highest handicap will have a higher total pins. And my team had the lowest handicap and we got screwed into 2nd. Ok end of my stupid little rant there, but good luck hopefully you can win that 1k and and get entered into that tourny.

Yea i was in a league and i personally got 150$.. for winning high handicap series, high team handicap series and like 8th place.. it was like 150$ a person for 5 person teams.

I was doing well, but by the third game the oil pattern was becoming shit, and everyone was getting goofy so I couldn't concentrate for shit either.

Probably fourth. We were in first at the beginning of last week, but dropped 2/3. Today we dropped 2/3 again... Will get money next week... not sure how much.
