as a result + Show Spoiler [counter nonsense argument] + 1. CS has LAN latency , lan parties, local servers, for middle tier even low skilled players have easy access to this. 1. SC On the other hand, has BNET SERVER Latency ping. People dont even PLAY or stay in game anymore, they just leave the game and hope for a new one . Please dont even try to argue that cause u know that's what you do vs laggers. 2.CS is actually FAST , Reactions please. 2. SC,"Oh look i see a dropship coming to my base and i have 10 billion seconds to react" Let's spam "z" and "d" and then throw down a cannon and build a probe what is that like 5 seconds before i actually have to deal with the drop where in CS can be 0.2 second warning for a headshot 3. Ok they both have mind games, Since i dont play at that tier of SC i wont go into that. (obviously CS>SC however ) 4. Aiming. If u cant do that in CS you lose so hard, so easily. 4. Woww i have a thing called minimap it tells me where everything is , "getting DT dropped is considered noob" where as in CS a sneaky play like that, reflects the skill of the OTHER person cleverly timing his distractions and feints while rushing or planting somewhere important. frankbg already posted like a billion points about the skill of cs and difficult points about it yet you still argue -_- they're different games and both very successful esports. that's all their is to it | ||

CS was pretty fun, especially if you had a team that you'd played with for a while. Same basic principle as SC. Have to know/use map well, execute your shooting/flashbanging and etc right...just not as much stuff that will bite you in the ass if you fuck up is all. | ||

Counter-Strike - Have to know the map by heart as in what part is possible to boost your teammate(s). Boosting is when you give a player a boost up onto a box or ledge. Also you need to study angles on how grenades bounce off the walls and such. - Have to execute your grenades perfectly when you're a Terrorist and is about to enter a bomb site - You need to have decent reaction and aim - Have to work together as a team since teamwork + execution on strats > aim - You also have to have ingame smarts like you can't be Rambo and jump out in the open and expect to get more than 2 kills. You have to play it smart and not be impatient, but let the enemy come to you. Starcraft - Micro/macro - Strategy - Intelligence - Timing | ||
