It's not intellectual, it's not creative, it's not relevant, and it's not funny. I don't deny that this sort of thing has little impact on the world, unlike say, Nationalist parties. And American's being portrayed as monkeys who go around with baggy jeans and boom boxes seems to be aimed at only a certain group of Americans. The others are pertaining to some culturally relevant aspect of the cultures which they represent (not sure about Europe, but it's reasonable to assume a lot of them play computer games). All that being said, I thought three of them were funny and I was taken by two of them. But I agree that it's not "real" racism in that the intent is not to discriminate against a certain people or paint them as inferior. Sorry to rain on anyone's parade, but I felt like parts of it were overtly offensive with nothing comedic. Guess I'll have to get on a plane and fly back to my homeland of __________... | ||
