What made you want to start coaching people? I know that teaching is a Joy (I don't teach starcraft or school) but some people teach for other reasons than the joy. (also sorry if someone asked this I didn't read all the pages =( )

I started out coaching broodwar at 10$ an hour because I was a broke college student. Was a perfect melding of two passions: teaching and starcraft. Now I work full time and make pretty good money sustaining my progaming career by coaching. I live the dream and am thankful for it each day!

Hey incontrol mind if I trouble you with another question? I was reading through the thread back when it was in 08 and noticed that you broke up with the love of your life after a 2 year relationship. Well it's a small world and this has happened to me recently. I was dating the girl for 2 years wanted to marry her have kids with her the works. We broke up about 2 weeks ago, and I am feeling a feeling of emptiness like never before. My question is how did you overcome/cope with the pain? Was it natural or did you use tricks like distraction via starcraft or working out? It feels like an open wound stinging at me constantly. Thank you so much if you anwser this one.

working out had a big impact on coping. Find a hobby that is rewarding as well ... if it's SC2 great but balance social time with friends/working out (for you) and private time with yourself (hobby). It hurts inescapably for a while but then you are fine and hopefully better off (working out, spending time with family/friends and doing a rewarding hobby).

I've been reading up on how to gain mass/get stronger and it seems like sticking to the 3 core lifts: bench, deadlift and squat are really what you need to gain (get strong). My goal is mostly to get strong but I wouldn't mind "getting big." Currently I'm doing those lifts but I'm doing like 2 supersets (3x ~8-10 each) of other lifts in addition to those (like a back/chest exercise in addition to my bench and deadlift (5x5) day). I'm wondering: am I lifting too much? and since I'm try to be more time efficient with my lifts, will I still get stronger/bigger doing core but fewer exercises? And how often do you really need to hit the gym?

I am having a lot of trouble vs Zerg, and have probably lost my last 8 out of 10 games vs them. If I was going to focus on a couple builds vs Zerg to try out, what would you recommend? Also, what do you do to break a 15 hatch or to stop Muta harass? Thanks
