What's better, the SPL or the EPL?

EPL no shit... i thought all commonwealth countries ppl knew that scotland is its own nation ( does that even make sense?) but you can see how this might be confusing for alot of people.
so u guys are a small country inside a bigger country ? hmm?
okay now serious question. do you hate the english? lol?
what is so different about ur culture compare with the rest of british?

and they have no idea about Scotland or Britain and end up calling the place where I live England which is way off.

concerning 4) Well a good friend of mine is from Scotland originally and if she starts talking in her dialect I barely understand even a single word lol

- Well the scottish, irish and welsh are a bit more like laid back, get the job done, dont complain, dont boast.
The english are like oh yes lets complain, boast and be general idiots most of the time, apart from some english areas like yorkshire or in smaller areas like cornwall, there pretty much like the scottish, irish and welsh.
Also the english just love the royal family, we like them but we arent obsessed with them like they are, we like more the actual country and people itself not just the royal image.
The english actually think they are the end all and be all of british, ive came across many english people who said your not British we welsh and english are (since wales is a little more similar to England).
Basically It's got to do also with our ancestry and history, theres like 2 breeds of people on the British islands, the Celts (the original settlers of the islands (irish, welsh, Scots) and the Britons/anglo-saxons who are basically settlers who came here and lived in what is today England. Over the years sure the celtic ancestry has been mixed but it still shows a great divide between the anglo-saxons and us.
Another thing thats different about our culture is we scots, irish and welsh have several different ethnic languages, such as Welsh, Scots, Irish, Scottish Gaelic and manx. However these are only really practiced by people in the Irish Republic, in the North of Scotland or in the small Islands like Orkney and skye which encircle Britain due to us being anglo-nised over the ages. My cousin for example can speak fluent Scottish Gaelic but english is his 1st language

It's very simple in the system of dynastic succession. Since the Salic law is not applicable to England, succession through the female line is possible following the rules of primogeniture.
Because of Henry VIII's British policy of attempting to add Scotland to English crown lands, he married his sister, Margaret Tudor to James IV Stuart of Scotland, now, there was no great risk of the Stuart line succeeding to the throne of England so long as Henry VIII's six marriages produced offspring. Catherine of Aragon bore him no male heirs, only Mary Tudor, which led to the English reformation, Anne Boleyn similarly bore him only one female heir, Elizabeth Tudor. She married into the Scottish house of Stuart, produced James V of Scotland, who in marriage to Mary de Guise, produced only one female heiress: Mary Stuart. Mary Stuart was beheaded by Elizabeth, but she bore a child: James VI of Scotland, who after Elizabeth's death would succeed through the bloodline to both the English and Scottish thrones as James VI of Scotland, I of England.

basically Scotland since the protestant reformation which went on in europe where the church was divided into catholic and protestant, Scotland was greatly affected by this and became mostly protestant, nowthrough immigration from ireland which is largely catholic or from areas just being historically catholic in decent in scotland a large secular divide took over scotland and during this a Irish catholic priest i believe it was founded celtic football team which supported a unified ireland and who would only allow catholics in. Then somewhere down the line rangers football team was formed with a protestant background and then the 2 teams played together and ever since then theres been a feirce rivalry, so now celtic fans hate rangers fans, catholics hate protestants and nowadays its common in glasgow and paisley and other cities to be identified as like a catholic or a protestant family, for example my family are protestant even though they dont go to church, theres been a lot of killings, a lot of hate and a large divide for over a hundred years, you walk down the street and you see many 40-60 year olds bearing secular tatoos on their arms, celtic tops etc...
My step-dad for example came from port glasgow, one of the areas where theres a lot of irish influence and decent, so hes always been a hardcore I.R.A supporter, celtic fan and hater of protestants and he only recently got his old tatooes of IRA and Irish republican symbols covered with more modern things because he doesnt want to be seen like that anymore. He used to run a gang in port glasgow called the port sinn fein which went arround beating up protestant gangs and he was one of the most feared guys in port glasgow and everyone still knows him up there as Kyza, he owns his own decorating business now up there. He still screams at a celtic game and still supports the IRA now but hes obviously less crazy.

I'm Welsh not British, I speak Welsh, it's my first language, therefor, I consider my self Welsh not British.
also, it pisses me off when people think Wales is a part of England!
