PC Game playing is an inherently unhealthy activity. It is not as unhealthy as injecting heroin. But... it is unhealthy. It is about as unhealthy as drinking a can of Coca Cola soda pop. A PC player sits motionless staring into a flat 2D screen only centimetres away from their face. Its bad. If the player is sitting alone in their room then the negative health effects are even worse. It is much better to go to a PC Bang or a Video Game Arcade and play socially. People must do specific things to counter the negative health effects of video game playing. | ||

If you make software at least you have a finished product of which you can be proud. You made something. If you are in IT support/help desk it is a soul crushing job because you build nothing. PC Gaming is in the same ball park as this. You do not create a product. | ||
