Did you also bear everyone's sins on a cross? Seriously, it's okay to express your opinion, but there is no need to go into caps and curses over a little 4chan prank over the internet. It's easier to consider the opinion of someone who uses calm logic over someone who "yells" profanities in caps lock on a joke thread.

No people or animals were harmed in the making of this post.

Good thing I didnt use caps lock at all.. unless you are referring to my "PM" comment in which case I sincerely appologize for "yelling" PM.

I used curse language to convey anger and frustration.. it is a common practice on the interwebs. I find it completely fine. If I was trying to convey "calm logic" I would use language that conveys as much. Thanks though.

Why would you quote one post yet refer to another? That is just bad posting. I dont use caps I use "shift" but I see your point. Refer to the "I was conveying anger" response. I would think your arguement more valid had I made the entire post or even most of it in caps, that is just plain obnoxious. If I made 2 statements in caps it was for emphasis and emotional draw.

Referring to the other post in this case was a counter the the post I quoted. It makes sense.

No it didnt make sense because you were blabbering about caps and things that I didnt do in that post at all. Also you didnt use it as a counter you just quoted it and then went on a diatrob about non caps posting and how curse words reduce credibility.

Your definition of using caps is making an entire post or sentence in caps lock (or at least that's what I understood from what you said). My definition is capitalizing things like "FUCKING MORON," etc. Therefore, I used it is a counter by example to your statement that you did not use caps.

I find that posting with too much emotion, in this case characterized by capitalized curses, is excessive and insulting, especially when it's a topic that you only have an opinion about and not any experience in. But once again that is my opinion, and apparently the opinion of others as well. You're entitled to yours, as I said previously.

How do you assert I dont have experience on the matter? I specifically said that it is problematic to assume a word with as much potential for emotional charge as "rape" should be assumed "not a big deal" and then I specifically explain that he does not know my circumstances. Someone I love very dearly was raped and as such I think the word deserves care from time to time. Of course its a tall order to ask that people on the internet blanket respect the word but I believe conditionally there is a time and a place for everything, this was neither the time nor the place as he agreed with me via PM.

Making statements in bold or using R language pale in comparison to what I was discussing. And each time you bring it up you ignore my explanation for why I used bold language.

But please, continue to argue the finer points of caps locking "bad" and other assertions regarding my personal experiences to which you have no idea.
