No offense. Also I guess your parents just didn't know what a tarantula was before you got them? Cause it's pretty much impossible to think a CRICKET is a tarantula.

I have only seen large (full grown) tarantulas. When you ordered these were they young? How small did they come?

I have only seen large (full grown) tarantulas. When you ordered these were they young? How small did they come? Hahaha, no actually it's always been like that. Most of my life I've been the "adult" and my dad the "child". They were only 1/4 of an inch when I first got them, Lola was about half an inch when she went missing today, but they grow up to 5-7 inches. Check out the site.. www.swiftinverts.com. A bit expensive but their nice. Get the ones that say new-world the old-world tarantulas are more aggressive. Edit: If your really ballsy get the ones that grow 9 inches!

Most others bite is only as bad as a wasp stinging you. And only a few percent can do take you down or cause something serious to you.

Maybe you could try to rig your aquarium lid with a little padlock so he cant get into it without breaking it? That is, if you find her,
