I've been playing for awhile but would love to get into some home producing but not really knowing where to start.

They have a range of kits which I use and combine regularly, but for this track I just used the original Halpern signature kit (their first release) with some of the triggers from Invasion. I use REAPER as my DAW. It's ugly as sin and kinda daunting but there's a ton of great tutorial content out for it - and it's ridiculously stable and powerful. Really popular choice for home studios and pro studios alike. It also has an unlimited free trial that doesn't restrict any functionality, so that's nice.

I'd say your musicianship is on a rather high level and if life allows you and you're not under too much stress, you should go on with your art.

Still trying to work out what you’re doing to get that stuttering/jittering sound in the intro/main riff Pretty cool, that particular sound is genuinely a new one on me, I got super burnt out by djent but that’s a neat touch and yeah, good stuff all round man! Wish I could find a lady as thicc…
