I had this thoughts in my mind for a while and I been discussing with a couple of friends, well anyways Here i present them to you, tell me what you think So La liga will start at the end of this month, and with the Transfer window about to end, and all the teams gathering up theirs squads, making some changes here and there I was left wondering, how will Barca play in 2007/08 season. First thing to consider is what changed in the squad, so that said here was the rooster for the 2006/07 Liga GK: Valdes, Jorquera DF: Puyol, Marquez, Oleguer, Zambrotta, Thuram, Belleti, Gio, Sylvinho, Edmilson ( although the 2 I dont really consider defenders) MF:Motta, Xavi, Iniesta, Deco, Dinho FW: Gudj, Eto'o, Messi, Saviola, Guily, Ezquerro (lols) Well I dont want to go to deep into this squad, but the following players needed to get he fuck out: Oleguer, Ezqueero, Gudj, Edmilson, Marquez ( maybe im being a bit harsh with him, but I just dont like him at all) Now, who actually left? Gio, Saviola, Guily. and ezquerro, Gudj, Motta, Belleti, are on their way out. Which brings me to to whos new? So far we got; Eric Abidal, Yaya Toure, Henry, and Milito. and Coming from the young team Gio Dos Santos and Bojan KrKic! Well, Im happy with Abidal as a player in that position was needed real bad, so Oleguer can never play again ( I really hope so, Idk why Rikjard likes him, he must be related to La porta lols). Yaya Toure, I didnt know much about him but I read that he is an excellent player and can play as a stumper so Rijkard can finally play with 3 defenders lol, good signing anyways. Henry, Great player great striker but I don't like him and I didn't want him in Barca -.-, I think the team was fine with Saviola, they should've kept him and saved the money on Henry, but aside from my personal opinion, He can bring a lot to Barca and hopefully lots of goals. Milito, Great signing too!, We deff needed a center defender, ( I dont think marquez is good enough ^^) so Puyol+Milito=thx Gio, Im sooooooo happy he is the senior team! so much talent! he would've been the best player in the under 20 cup if mexico didn't get disqualified by argentina. Boja, This guy is only 16 and will turn 17 in a couple days, but WOW, he is pure talent! 800 goals in Barce C + Barca B so happy for him, they only thing is I dont see him competing for a spot, vs Dinho, Messi, Henry, Eto'o , etc.. Moving on, With this team, HOW TO PLAY!? who should be in the starting 11? Will Henry Eto Messi and Dinho Play together? dwf4t5r4fdeswq??? We got to see that Barca will be playing 3 major leagues, La liga, Champions league, and Copa del Rey, so Im guessing everyone should get some playing time Ok, Here is how I would do it. Valdes Abidal Milito Puyol Zambrotta Toure Deco Dinho Messi Eto Henry I like Messi as Enganche and not striker, he plays that possition well. This would be and awesome start up line but I doubt that it will happen, because I dont see Henry and Eto playing together. Valdes Abidal Puyol Zambrotta Toure Deco Xavi Iniesta Dinho Messi Henry/Eto idk, fuck i cant think right now, you give me some possible line ups! anyways I feel bad for Gio and Bojan as they are great great players that prob wont get much playtime, for the fact that they are young and inexperienced but then who knows look what happened with Messi, and As I previously mentioned, There are 3 Titles to go for! Let Barcelone win all 3! I hope you liked my post, comments suggestions and flames are all welcome

Musli Poland5130 Posts August 03 2007 00:51 GMT #2 Henry is like million times better than Saviola, you'll see how awesome he is if u didnt follow his career in Arsenal too much. Yaya Toure is really good, definately a promising player, v.good performance in Scotland, I watched both matches and I can tell it for certain. Eric Abidal, at last v.good defender on left back, healthy like horse, great stamina and speed, not so bad in technique as I thought. Will get better in Barca for sure. I cant say much about Milito, cuz I havent seen him in a match(focusing attention on him), but from what I could see, he is for sure great signing, and possibly better than Marquez in good shape, which is v.good. Gio Dos Santos - unpredictable, fast, v.good technique. Surely a very promising player, but he has still to grow up to men football. Same goes for Bojan, but he sees more on the pitch and he's able to stay calm, play good ball to others than shooting himself. Looking forward to their future. Rest of players has to back to shape and nothing more is needed to win La Liga, Champions League etc. But to back to shape is sth hard as we can see looking at Eto'o, Deco or Ronaldinho ;-) Should be a very very good season, will see what Barca can achieve in this one, maybe everything or maybe nothing. Time will tell ! Oh and Barca will play 4-3-3, or 4-1-2-2-1 in detail. Zambrotta, Milito, Puyol, Abidal - Toure - Xavi, Iniesta - Ronnie, Messi - Eto'o. Henry changing with attacking 3 every match(half), lots of rotation etc. Marquez with Milito/Toure(if Motta gets sold). Also Bojan/Gio with Ronnie/Messi in less important matches or where the result is sure(3-0 etc)
