Damn, i'm so embarassed with the fact that Bisu lost his OSL cling to that little cheesy kid who will get eaten in the very next game for being a one-matchup player. Lost to what? I mean, I log on to sc2.org to watch some good StarCraft and what do I see? A total all-in 2 rax rine proxy? What is this? 1 minute of action? Baaaahhh, I'm so angry, plays like this one sometimes make me want to quit this shit.

Upon further inspection, there might be some fanboyism, but this is really not the enemy and not the way Bisu should've lost the OSL. Not to a school kid and not in a 4-minute-long game.

i empathise, as i expected a tight series but it was a total letdown, entertainment-wise. and lol, bisu kept on doing that fe to corsair/dt combo to zerg, and i'd imagine it was sickening to deal with. perhaps it was poetic justice that he got mnm'ed for two games in a series?

i think the mark of a player truly meant to dominate is being able to take anything, and paying it back with interest. the way savior repelled that 4 gate zeal all in from daezang comes to mind. O_O

but dominance gets boring after a while, so i'm glad there's gonna be a first time osl winner this season!

Look, Bisu lost. In sports, it's just about winning in the end. Federer has won 10 grand slams. We're not going to say, oh, he's just 'born' with talent so it sux and he cheeses too much with this talent.

Flash won. He was the better player that night. Simple as that.

pretty much.
i think bisu just failed at preparing for the been rushed scenario and focused on his build of proxy reavers (probably). When you have already seen it done before (the gas trick) you have to be prepared for something like that in top tier progaming.
Bisu lost the same way savior lost to Bisu last MSL, he simply prepared his shit and didn't prepared to what the opponent might do.

Hey, hey, I'm not trying to argue that the win was not justified. If I was, I would create a forum topic, not a blog. But I'm just very angry about how pitiful those 2 games were. And this is far from the Bisu/Savior series because Bisu's strat was just a new way to win, a strategy with a continuation and a lategame entry. What Flash did was pure cheese without any chances to enter lategame in case it failed.

And please do not talk better scouting. What do you scout with, I wonder? (take 3 probes away from the minline? make a widespread undefendible base?) And even in case you do scout, what are you gonna do with it? Neither another gateway, nor forge/cannon are gonna do that in time. And starting 2 gate on Monty Hall in fear of the dreaded cheese is not really the best option.

scouting owns cheese? u really ask urself what u can do if u scout it?? come on dude think hard.... if a cheesing attempt like this is scouted, it will be countered (unless its scouted too late). U dont need 3 probes to scout it, 1 probe checking all ur 3 mineral chokes would have been enough. and if u scout it u build a pylon block or send some probes to mine/cancel mine the mineral patch hes trying to mine up. this all delays him while u pump forge/cannon... once cannon is up its pretty much gg.

Flash exposed a fault in Bisu's game and capitalized on it.
Being cheesed twice means his early game defense is weak so it gives him something to work on.

I really hate that Flash is being ragged on so hard. He's 15 - 3 now and only 3 of his games, that I remember were 'Cheese'. But even the 'cheese' worked so well because he scouted well, and saw an opportunity.

He just played again last night where he dominated Jaedong on Python. This is after defending an early ling attack JUST BARELY because of his awesome micro.

Klaz commentated a brilliant Flash TvZ against oDin from not too long ago, check it out.

Flash is consistent. his 15 - 3 record proves that. And even if you take away 3 of his wins because they were "cheese", he would be 12 - 3. (But we wouldn't, because flash earned those wins.)

Ermmm, sorry, Flash might be a nice kid, but cheesing champions is not the way to go.
