Most expensive liquid in the world: Hp black ink
that ink printers lied about the remaining ink in cartdriges making you throw away the cartdrige with more than 20% of ink is old news, but that ink jet is on of the most expensive liquid in the world i wasn't aware. And it is amusing how the buissness works for this people... basically is just to screw the client and make them overpay everything...

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/americas/6225676.stm
a lake dissapeared in one night in Chile. One afternoon you could see it (pretty big lake) and the following morning it wasn't there anymore. Big shit. Surely this will get the ecologist started again (i wonder, have we ever have a global warming thread?

I originally read it here: http://www.lanacion.com.ar/cienciasalud/nota.asp?nota_id=919257&pid=2743987&toi=5281 (it's in spanish)
