Here's a highlight video (divided into two parts) of all his nine ACE match victories if you are interested. + Show Spoiler + + Show Spoiler + I think Nal_rA initial status as a ProLeague one-versus-one beast is a narrative that got lost with time, what with the inflation of ProLeague schedule allowing more recent players to dwarf the numbers of past legends with incredible ease even if they were not at the very top of the player hierarchy. By the end of the 2005 ProLeague season (SKY 2005 ProLeague Grand Finals), this was the all-time standings for the one-versus-one games: 1) NaDa: 32-22 (59.3%) 2) iloveoov: 28-9 (75.7%) 3) Midas: 26-9 (74.3%) 4) JJu: 24-18 (57.1%) 5) Nal_rA: 22-12 (64.7%) In an era when the ProLeague was mostly dominated by terran aces such as NaDa, iloveoov, and Midas, Nal_rA was one of the few protoss players capable of leading his team through his one-versus-one prowess. Of course, SK Telecom T1 eventually managed to conquer everything partly thanks to being in possession of two out of the three ProLeague terran monsters on their roster, but Nal_rA's ACE match victory is one of the key moments that allowed the SK Telecom T1 versus KTF MagicNs match-up to secure itself as the El Clasico of Korean e-Sports. | ||
