I have to say, I think a lot going on is what a lot of people face regarding burnout. The usual psychological issue is, once things become routine, and they aren't just for fun, or they feel forced often they become something to dread. At risk of being cliche, I'll mention a musician who plays solely for enjoyment, versus the musician who needs it so they aren't homeless and starving. That musician will face a choice eventually whether this is something they really truly desire or not, and will start to forget what their initial goal is. Along the way, he/she will face a point where they have to decide if it's worth continuing. They also could choose to change their perspective on the ordeal altogether. Rather even a passionate person can become worn out, or forget why they were so driven and passionate in the first place. In this age where information is consumed rapidly, and Starcraft games are happening all over the world EVERY day, a caster's schedule can tax an individual. Even Vin Scully had to retire from casting Dodger baseball games, but I don't think you're at that point yet. Anyways, I think you've found some reprieve so I'm happy for you. I hope you can continue to experience the joy of your work, and remember that everyone who has tried to write anything for the sake of recreation will never ever be completely happy with what they wrote.

Writers are some of the most overlooked of contributors to the general public but without them we have so much less to talk about, get excited about and opportunities to reflect. I'm so grateful to the amazing team that has done so well to provide quality content for TL and starcraft in general. You and the others on the writing team are the reason i keep coming to TL despite almost never posting. I'll keep reading until there aren't any more articles left to read. I don't have much else to give beyond my gratitude but god damn you've earned it. Keep fighting <3
